About The Position

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe, offering medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services. It also houses The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician operates under moderate direction and supervision in designated areas or job functions within the site location. This role functions relatively independently and includes some decision-making responsibility. The technician may interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of the pharmacy department. The position requires enhanced knowledge and training in the assigned specialty area, adherence to regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance (including USP [795] [797] [800] in sites that perform sterile compounding), and participation in training other employees in the area of specialty.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

• 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy
