Specialty Pharmacy Technician - BONUS - No Weekends/ Holidays
About The Position
CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for its CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team in Aurora, Colorado. The team serves patients with conditions including MS, oncology, hepatitis, HIV, rheumatology, dermatology, transplant, and gastrointestinal diseases. The role contributes to an initiative to transform health care and pharmacy through emerging information, technologies, and channels. The technician helps ensure prescriptions are filled correctly and prescription information is entered accurately. Duties include contacting patients to arrange delivery or pickup, making refill reminder calls, filling medication orders, preparing orders for delivery, packing and shipping prescriptions through various carriers, maintaining and managing inventory, and assisting walk-in customers. The position requires lifting and shipping prescriptions weighing up to 50 pounds. This is an onsite role with a guaranteed 40-hour work week and consistent schedules. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; weekends and major holidays are not scheduled. CVS offers training support for PTCB certification and reimburses the exam cost if the employee passes. A $1,500 hiring bonus is offered to eligible new hires and is not valid for current CVS colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience or graduation from a pharmacy technician program.
- Active pharmacy technician license in the state of Colorado.
- Verifiable high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and ship prescriptions weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Help ensure medications are filled correctly.
- Accurately enter prescription information as needed.
