About The Position

Shields Health Solutions is transforming the specialty pharmacy experience to ensure patients stay on track with life-saving medications. They are looking for compassionate, driven professionals to join their collaborative team in Worcester, MA. As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you will work in a hospital-based pharmacy setting, blending the pace of retail with the purpose of specialty care. Your day-to-day will include preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional service at the pick-up counter, answering patient calls and assisting with medication-related questions, supporting pharmacy operations using systems like Epic and Willow Ambulatory, and collaborating with a team that values empathy, communication, and excellence.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• National Certification (PTCB or NHA) – contingency start may be considered for the right candidate
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
