About The Position

The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works in the Royal Oak inpatient pharmacy, in hazardous compounding. Under moderate direction and supervision, the technician operates in designated areas or job functions at the site, works relatively independently, and has some decision-making responsibility. The role may involve interaction with other departments or businesses outside the pharmacy department. It requires enhanced knowledge or training in the assigned specialty area, and includes participating in training employees in that area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Michigan pharmacy technician license required upon hire.

• Two years of relevant pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities
