About The Position

The Manager of Specialty Pharmacy Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for specialty pharmacy services, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with regulatory, payer, and accreditation requirements. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving performance improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows, and leading a multidisciplinary team to achieve organizational goals and exceptional patient outcomes. The pharmacy manager will serve as a Compliance Officer for the specialty pharmacy program and a Supervising Pharmacist.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
• Valid NYS Pharmacist license and registration
• At least two years of pharmacy supervisory experience
• Familiarity with 340B drug program
• Knowledge of rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient and/or Specialty Pharmacy experience
• Eligible for Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or similar certification
• Working knowledge of Outpatient Pharmacy Management Systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Working knowledge of Epic Electronic Heath Record system
