About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Liaison to join a fast-growing leader in specialty pharmacy management services. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and capable of building strong relationships with patients, clinicians, and internal teams. You will play a key role in supporting medication adherence and improving patient outcomes through a hands-on, patient-centered approach. This is a clinic-based role, requiring seamless collaboration with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver integrated pharmacy services.

  • 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Active State Pharmacy Technician Registration (required)
  • Willingness to obtain additional licensure within an agreed timeframe if necessary

  • Experience in Infectious diseases (including HIV)
  • Experience in Oncology
  • 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy or specialty pharmacy settings
  • CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class (“legendary”) patient care through comprehensive medication management services
  • Support patients throughout the full continuum of care, including medication adherence and therapy management
  • Conduct outbound adherence calls, refill coordination, and follow-ups
  • Educate patients on pharmacy services and benefits to improve engagement and outcomes
  • Provide support both in-person and over the phone
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
  • Act as a liaison between the clinic and the centralized Patient Service Center
  • Communicate key reports (refill, zero-fill, outstanding, appointment lists)
  • Support specialty and retail prescription workflows
  • Identify medications requiring special handling (e.g., refrigerated, hazardous drugs)
  • Ensure availability of necessary supplies (e.g., syringes, sharps containers, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation across systems and databases
  • Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care delivery
  • Resolve insurance issues, including prior authorizations (PAs)
  • Assist patients in accessing financial assistance programs
  • Identify trends and recommend operational improvements
  • Participate in quality and performance initiatives
  • Stay current with industry knowledge and best practices
