Summary Under the direction of the Pharmacist-In-Charge, practice in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

Requirements

A valid Pharmacist License, in good standing. (RPh Florida required)
Ability to become licensed in multiple states as required.
Two years minimum of pharmacy experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of laws pertaining to storage, recordkeeping, and dispensing of drugs
Attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, patiently and courteously.
Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.

Nice To Haves

Specialty pharmacist certification is preferred.
Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Participating in resolving pharmacy service related complaints and concerns in accordance with company policy and promoting a positive customer experience.
Answering customer phone calls, doctor phone calls, and initial and final evaluation of prescriptions.
Practicing in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Contributing to and supporting an atmosphere of effective teamwork.
Attending pertinent meetings when necessary.
Assisting in training and developing other pharmacy personnel.
Following and aiding in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
Keeping abreast of developments in the professional field.
Respecting and maintaining confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.
Answering drug information questions as requested.
