Specialty Pharmacist - Full Time
About The Position
As a non-exempt Specialty Fulfillment Pharmacist, you will perform final quality checks on members’ prescription orders, assist across Pharmacy Fulfillment, serve as a resource to the Fulfillment Team, and flex to support other operational duties assigned by pharmacy leadership. The role is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with occasional overtime. The position requires compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations, department standards, and quality assurance guidelines. The hourly pay range is $44.09 to $78.70, based on full-time employment and factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or PharmD.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in Indiana.
- Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows-based environment and create, edit, save, and send documents using Microsoft Word.
- Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches.
- Ability to work the designated shift and flexible hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist.
- Experience working in a mail order setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform final verification of dispensed prescriptions before orders are packed and shipped.
- Oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other personnel.
- Organize workload, set priorities, and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Use resources appropriately while complying with department program standards.
- Perform duties in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge with projects as needed.
- Conform to and support department quality assurance and improvement guidelines.
- Flex into operational pharmacy areas, including inventory, picking, and packing.
