Specialty Pharmacist- Full-Time Rotating shifts Position Summary Leads daily dispensing operations and ensures safe, accurate, and compliant preparation, compounding, verification, and fulfillment of prescriptions. Applies advanced clinical judgment, operational expertise, and strong leadership to maintain high‑quality pharmacy services, support clinical care, and uphold regulatory excellence across all specialty pharmacy functions. Oversees end‑to‑end dispensing operations with precise preparation, compounding, labeling, and fulfillment of prescriptions. Conducts rigorous prospective clinical reviews, including screening for medication appropriateness, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic duplication. Provides professional oversight and direction to pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient task execution. Serves as a primary operational resource with comprehensive knowledge of staff roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Proactively resolves operational challenges and delivers real‑time feedback to sustain effective workflows. Leads resolution of third‑party payer rejections and ensures accurate claim adjudication, serving as the subject‑matter expert for reimbursement workflows. This position will be located at 1129 Westchester Ave, White Plains, NY.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
  • New York State Pharmacist licensure
