About The Position

This posting is for a new position. The Specialty Leasing Administrator will support the Specialty leasing team by coordinating administrative processes and maintaining and managing files and documentation. This role involves managing files for all properties' specialty leasing programs, preparing, processing, and maintaining specialty leasing agreements and related documentation, and providing administrative support throughout the leasing process. The administrator will also be responsible for Deal Manager entry and creating minutes for all specialty leasing meetings. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary education in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative leasing experience in retail, sales or shopping centre related experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Computer literate – Windows XP, Excel, Word, Simply Accounting, Adobe Illustrator, Internet
  • Basic accounting and record keeping skills
  • Self motivated, innovative and able to deal within a challenging environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be able to provide clear Police record check
  • This position requires local travel. Must have valid driver’s license and own transportation

  • As an integral part of the property management team, interface with all members of the property administration, build relationships with head office leasing and participate and contribute to collective goals, objectives and events
