About The Position
Authority is developing insurance-focused products, intelligence and advisory offerings for businesses. We are looking for an experienced specialty insurance professional who is currently active in the United States to advise us as we develop and improve these offerings. You will help us understand complex risks, customer needs, coverage structures, underwriting considerations and the way specialty insurance products are distributed and purchased.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience
- Currently operating in or closely involved with the the United States insurance market
- Up-to-date knowledge of local customers, regulation and market conditions
- Firsthand experience with insurance product, underwriting, claims, brokerage or distribution decisions
- A valid LinkedIn profile showing relevant professional experience

Responsibilities
- Advise on specialty insurance product opportunities and customer needs
- Advise on coverage design, limits, exclusions and policy wording
- Advise on underwriting, risk selection and pricing
- Advise on capacity, reinsurance and carrier appetite
- Advise on broker, MGA and specialty-market distribution
- Advise on claims complexity and common coverage gaps
- Advise on competitive positioning and emerging market opportunities
