About The Position

Join Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, part of Evernorth Health Services, and provide nursing care to patients in their homes. The Specialty Infusion Field Nurse administers specialty medications, including IV infusions, collaborates with pharmacists and care teams, documents patient care, coordinates updates, and uses independent clinical judgment to support optimal outcomes. The role is based in the Peoria, Illinois area and requires travel within a large geographic region. The position has a 40-hour workweek, with evening and weekend availability as needed. The anticipated annual salary is $79,200–$132,000, depending on relevant factors such as experience and geographic location. The role is also anticipated to be eligible for an annual bonus plan.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• At least 1 year of experience in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a large geographic region.
• Availability for a 40-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of RN experience in a hospital or home health setting is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively administer specialty medications, including IV infusions, in patients’ homes.
• Partner with pharmacists and care teams to support patients’ overall well-being.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in accurate patient records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient updates and care coordination.
• Exercise autonomy in clinical decision-making to achieve optimal outcomes.
