About The Position

We are seeking a Specialty Engineering II to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Engineering department’s Specialty Engineering team. The team develops infrastructure designs to support the construction of a diverse group of telecommunications facilities including civil site and small data center solutions. These designs include, but are not limited to, civil engineering for access roads, small- to medium sized buildings, fiber and copper infrastructure, electrical power plants, battery backup, etc., all of which aim to build a scalable and robust infrastructure for deploying network solutions. Day to day responsibilities include the end-to-end ownership of engineering-related tasks for land development projects for various types of communication infrastructure, namely data centers, cellular telecommunication sites, and broadcast facilities. You will support internal and external resources to ensure completed designs meet or exceed technical requirements and enable the successful construction and implementation of these communication facilities. In this role, you will gain valuable experience, mentorship, and skills from a wide variety of projects.
