About The Position

This position is responsible for managing an assigned caseload of adults diagnosed with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders. The incumbent is responsible for assessing client needs, developing, implementing, and reviewing service plans, and working with the Benton County Specialty Courts Teams including Adult Drug Court, Mental Health Court and Veterans Treatment Court and other community resources in meeting/achieving client service needs.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited college or university in relevant human services preferred.
At least one years’ experience working with clients with mental health disorders preferred.
Mental Health Paraprofessional (QMHPP) preferred.
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor a plus.

Responsibilities

Assessing clients’ needs and support systems.
Planning for crises and helping clients develop coping mechanisms.
Coordinating and monitoring of the client’s use of these services.
Coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client centered.
Handle assigned cases, draft service plans, and review case progress.
Facilitate multiple care aspects (case coordination, information sharing, etc.).
Act as a client advocate regarding their clinical status and treatment options.
Develop effective working relations and cooperate with Specialty Courts teams throughout the process.
Keep track of client progress.
Record case information, complete accurately all necessary forms including court reports.
Assess and address motivational and psychosocial issues.
Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules, and regulations.
Ensure referral and assessment process is completed timely.
Regular and reliable attendance.
