About The Position

The Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Specialized Test Laboratory (STL) Resource Scheduler, formerly Unified Capabilities Laboratory, is responsible for maintaining the lab’s Test and Evaluation (T&E) schedule within a dynamic environment. This role involves scheduling all resources and reporting on all T&E efforts, activities, and test status. The position also supports various administrative functions, including general office management, scheduling of tests, property accountability, and purchasing. This role is part of the JITC’s TEC II contract, which provides technical solutions for the Department of War (DoW) in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services. These services aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities for various government entities and commercial clients.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience; or an Associate’s degree and at least 4 years of experience.
  • One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a directly related curriculum.
  • Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write complex issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
  • Familiar with and actively using Microsoft Office suite.
  • Secret Clearance, Must Have Clearance to Start.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with and actively using Jira Project Management.
  • Familiar with Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
  • Familiar with National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) electronic records management guidelines.
  • Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the lab’s T&E schedule while adhering to a dynamic schedule.
  • Schedule all resources and report on all T&E efforts, activities, and test status.
  • Provide administrative functions, office management, and support daily operations.
  • Schedule meetings.
  • Create and maintain Test Discrepancy Report (TDR) spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and update the STL T&E Services and Facilities Support Test Schedule.
  • Track the status of ongoing test activities to identify and mitigate the impact of schedule delays or other issues on other ongoing or planned tests.
  • Prepare purchasing documentation, obtain vendor quotes, and create the initial purchase package for all Other Direct Cost purchases.
  • Prepare the material inspection and receiving report in order to receive purchases.
