About The Position
This position is for a Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III, focusing on a School-Wide Autism program at McWilliams ES. The role operates on a 9-month schedule with 7 hours per day. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; OR 48 semester hours of college credit; OR a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Teacher Assistant or in a related field.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Nevada State Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education or be eligible for a Special Pupil Services License.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
