About The Position

This position is for a Specialized Programs Assistant III at Twin Lakes Elementary School, specifically supporting the School-Wide Title I program. The role involves working with children in an Autism program for 9 months, with 7.0 hours per day. Applicants must have completed a full three-year work history in their application, including any periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work, and have uploaded the necessary documentation. Eligibility also requires a high school graduation or equivalent, a minimum of 48 college credit hours or a passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment, and experience working with children. Additionally, a valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a current CPR/AED certificate from a recognized organization (with in-person, hands-on training) are required and must be maintained throughout the assignment.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • Minimum of 48 credit hours from an accredited college or university, or a passing score on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) ParaPro assessment.
  • Experience working with children.
  • A valid driver's license or state-issued identification card.
  • Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted.
