Specialized Fiduciary Officer I (SFO I), Retirement Plans, Private Banking - Specialized fiduciary officer providing support to defined contribution plans. Primary task will be to support and coordinates related trust activities with business partners (internal and external), i.e., human resources, accounting, participant recordkeeping, etc. Job expectations include having working knowledge of accounting, fiduciary regulations and Microsoft Office.

Requirements

  • Formal accounting education/background and reconciliation knowledge.
  • Employee benefit (ERISA) payment knowledge.
  • Proficient in EXCEL, WORD and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, fiduciary regulations and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate related trust activities with business partners (internal and external), i.e., human resources, accounting, participant recordkeeping, etc.
  • Processing daily accounting entries related to fund trades, money movement, DDA accounts, GL accounts, wire transfers, benefit payment funding, and reconciliations.
  • Identifying discrepancies, investigating the causes and completing/reporting results to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Supports and coordinates related Trust activities with business partners (internal and external), i.e., human resources, participant recordkeeping, auditors, etc.
