About The Position

The Titles Specialist will manage titles for defi SOLUTIONS' auto retail & lease portfolios for various clients. This role involves working within specialized teams, either the Correction Team or the Payoff Team. The Correction Team handles logging incoming titles, determining their status, processing modifications for inaccurate titles, managing title transfer demands, executing duplicate title processes, name changes, and copy requests, while maintaining client follow-up. The Payoff Team processes lien releases on paid-off titles or total loss vehicles, either by signing off on physical titles or releasing liens electronically. Team members are also required to obtain their Notary Public certification within 90 days of employment, with the company covering the costs.

Requirements

Available to work on-site at our Amherst, NY office Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5 pm
High School diploma or GED
Minimum one-year experience in high-volume, data entry, and administrative forced position
Intermediate proficiency with Windows-based software programs (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to demonstrate, comprehend and apply our workplace values.

Responsibilities

Log incoming titles into applicable services and determine their status.
Process title modifications for inaccurate or unacceptable titles.
Process state-to-state title transfer demands from customers or the DMV.
Execute duplicate title processes, name changes, and copy requests.
Maintain day-to-day client follow-up and address accounts queued for review and processing.
Process the release of liens on titles that have been paid in full or deemed a total loss.
Sign off as lien holders on appropriate titles.
Generate and send a lien release to release collateral when physical titles are not available.
Release the lien via the electronic vendor portal from the state to the appropriate party who paid off the loan.
Obtain Notary Public certification within 90 days of employment.
