About The Position

The Specialist – Transportation Payables is an entry-level role that plays a vital role in the movement of freight for our customers. This position will be auditing invoices, entering invoices for payment, and working with our internal teams to resolve any discrepancies. It will be instrumental in supporting our accounting functions along with providing support in other areas as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be solution focused
• Must thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in accounting or logistics is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and audit invoices in the AP system.
• Work closely with other teams to resolve any billing issues
• Respond to emails within 48 hours of receipt depending on which inbox you are tasked to work (AP Inbox, billing mod, or AP International)
• Create detailed noted for carriers on statement of accounts and follow up with our vendors to ensure billing discrepancies are fixed
• Must be able to exhibit standard professionalism in an office setting. Respect the team!
