  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have an High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must hold valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate (requirement may be waived).
  • Must complete Fleet Familiarization Training specific to the fleet type assignment.
  • Must be familiar with the applicable portions of the MOCPM (Maintenance Operations Control/Planning Manual) related to performance of their duties and the procedures stated within.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the scheduling of required maintenance checks on aircraft, as assigned.
  • Managing time change components, deferrals, Fleet Campaign Directives and Engineering Orders, including those designated for accomplishment during heavy maintenance checks.
  • Coordinating with MOC, SOC, Inventory Control and Maintenance for the routing and assignment of scheduled maintenance.
  • Creating and monitoring EO/ERS/FCD Tracking Matrix; reconciling completed matrices with TCS history.
  • Reviewing Preplan and final BOWs (Bill of Work) for accuracy and scheduling conflicts to station capabilities.
  • Providing oversight of development and coordination of scheduled maintenance activity.
  • Providing training and direction to Planners on assigned fleet type to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Resolving problems, evaluating and assisting in development of departmental processes.
