About The Position

Join the Business Solutions Engineering team, in the Specialist, Software Engineering (Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM) position, where the next generations of software applications are being developed to enable CMHC to achieve its mission. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and met, all while supporting continuous improvement through CMHC’s CRM platform. This is a temporary position of a duration of 15 months.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience programming, developing, and implementing business applications.
  • Expertise in implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions.
  • Expertise with cloud-based systems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
  • Project experience with end-to-end solution implementation, including planning, estimation, and solution architecture.
  • Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, DevOps.
  • Strong interpersonal and business competencies, including teamwork, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365.
  • Develop code using Visual Studio, .Net Development (C#), JavaScript, SQL to customize Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.
  • Web front end development HTML, CSS.
  • Source code management and DevOps with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure is preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to assess system needs, document processes, and recommend solutions with impact analysis
  • Design and implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions
  • Develop and customize plugins to extend platform functionality
  • Configure CRM components (forms, entities, fields, workflows, business process flows)
  • Build integrations with internal systems (e.g., D365 Finance) to ensure data consistency
  • Implement security controls to protect data and ensure compliance
  • Produce and maintain technical specifications and documentation
  • Support application maintenance, reporting, and full SDLC delivery through to production deployment
