Specialist, Software Engineer

L3Harris•Salt Lake, UT

About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join its System Software Integration and Test Team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role develops software applications—including simulators, emulators, and automation software—that reproduce real-world scenarios and validate software against end-user requirements. The engineer also authors documents and integrates system software in a laboratory environment. Integration takes place at the system level on hardware through user interfaces, rather than at the component or unit level. The engineer works closely with systems engineers to integrate software across hardware platforms and collaborates with software and hardware engineers to identify deficiencies. The position is part of the System Software Integration and Test organization and contributes to delivering integration and test solutions for diverse communication technologies. New employees are paired with a technical mentor for role-specific guidance and a career mentor for professional development.
