About The Position

The Sales Operation Specialist supports designated account managers in driving sales through flawless execution of Order to Delivery process, assortment and order management as well as participating in key customer meetings. In delivering on the above the Sales Operations Specialist will manage external communication with client and internal communication with internal parties namely Customer Service, Logistics, Planning, Credit, IT, Marketing and Product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, or sales support role, with experience interfacing directly with customers
  • Knowledge of the US retail climate, particularly the eyewear industry
  • Strong customer focus
  • Organized and analytical
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Supports account managers in the achievement of annual invoiced sales performances to drive sales for designated accounts.
  • Tracks and maximizes Order to Delivery key performance indicators and establishes ad-hoc dashboards to share with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinates and perform tasks related to order management, ensuring quick turnaround including but not limited to writing and submitting orders, monitoring order allocation and fill rates, updating assortment manager tool, etc.
  • Ensures best service level from receipt of orders for processing, allocation, to trouble shooting needed after receipt of deliveries to customers.
  • Develops strong relationships externally with the assigned customers, with a focus on providing excellent service and diffuse the Luxottica Best practice.
  • Acts as the project manager on NPI activities as bridge between sales, product, marketing and supply chain.
  • Tracks past and future orders, updates the account managers, customers and business planners. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations.
  • Attends and assists at customer meetings at designated Luxottica Corporate Headquarters locations and/or customer.
  • Conducts and provides analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) in relation to the order portfolio of the company (locally in Atlanta) across the different customers to identify opportunities.
  • Provides timely and clear communication to customer inquiries via email and/or phone.
  • Attends designated Trade Shows as pertains to Customer and Business needs.
  • Support training for internal business groups and partners regarding channel specific business practices and product distribution segments.
