About The Position

The Safety & Compliance Specialist supports operational safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across assigned locations and business functions. This highly organized and detail-oriented role involves managing administrative duties, communicating proactively with stakeholders, and driving the execution of safety and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with advanced organizational and administrative capabilities, as well as proficiency in Microsoft or Google platforms. They must demonstrate initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset while supporting compliance programs, audits, reporting, training coordination, and operational safety efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Implement company safety and compliance programs, conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to identify risks, and support operational areas including vehicle and DOT compliance.
  • Track and manage corrective actions, compliance tasks, and training records. This also includes assisting with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and maintaining accurate regulatory documentation.
  • Proactively communicate safety expectations across the organization, coordinate training and engagement efforts, and prepare necessary reports, presentations, and data analysis.
