About The Position

Responsible for creating lab service quotes and costing of testing services. The role will be responsible to collect, analyze, update and present costing information in support of business case justification. In addition, the role is responsible to support new pricing models for test methods and customized unique requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Biosciences discipline required or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years Of experience with a strong focus on Price Management and Value Based Pricing and
• Services price quoting in SAP
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organization and detail oriented sillset
• High level of accuracy required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policies at all times
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
• Able to maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality
• A strong attention to detail
• Adept to learning new processes quickly and able to assist the business in understanding changes and transitioning to new processes
• Promotes positive attitude toward new business solutions and demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create quotations for contract analytical testing services using SAP PS4/HANA System
• Develop and distribute cost estimates for internal projects to be used in budgeting & reporting process
• Works with Lab Operations to determine standard hours to support costing and scheduling information
• Performs cost studies for analytical techniques as business needs change
• Perform cost analyses for new test methods/services, as well as audit and update existing testing costs in multiple systems
• Serve as laboratory representative on new product/special request screening team, to ensure release testing requests are fulfilled properly
• Responsible for lab material master data requests and maintenance for new lab services and programs
• Responsible for lab activity type requests and providing inputs to Finance for accurate costs
• Support all business system upgrades including SAP, LIMS, CRM and other systems as required
• Responsible for creating, analyzing and presenting information and recommendations for efficient operations utilizing lab time tracking information
• Ad hoc reporting to support business case justification and management decision making
• Analyzes lab services data and information to support identification of opportunities for improving operational utilization of resources and efficiency
• Assist with commercial operations improvement projects
• Responsible for Laboratory cost allocations monthly activities
• Collect information and report monthly metrics, as needed
• Support ALS Pricing process and related process improvements
• Any other duties as assigned to support the business goals and objectives
