About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded candidate to join our Audience Strategy & Activation team. In this role, you'll help transform raw customer data into actionable audience insights and ensure those insights are activated seamlessly across media platforms. About the Team: The Audience Strategy & Activation team sits at the core of Marketing's data-driven approach to customer engagement. We're responsible for turning vast amounts of customer data into clear, actionable audience strategies that power creative development, media planning, and personalized marketing at scale. As data privacy expectations evolve and media channels multiply, our team ensures that Ford can consistently identify, understand, and reach the right customers with the right message. Position Overview: We're seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and analytically driven GSR to support our audience strategy and activation efforts. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of audience management—from analyzing raw data for meaningful patterns, to building rich audience profiles, to executing and troubleshooting live audience activations across major ad platforms. You'll work closely with a Manager and cross-functional partners in creative, media, and analytics, making this an excellent opportunity to build both technical and strategic marketing skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, analytics, or general business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel
  • General understanding of Marketing concepts either from professional or educational background

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years experience in marketing or advertising technology or media planning/buying
  • Experience working with 3rd party data providers such as Experian

Responsibilities

  • Query and analyze first-, second-, and third-party data to identify distinct behavioral, demographic, and transactional customer cohorts.
  • Translate raw data findings into structured, logical segmentation proposals and present them to the Manager for strategic review.
  • Run queries to estimate the volume and viability of proposed segments to ensure they are large enough to support viable media spend.
  • Aggregate qualitative and quantitative data points to build a holistic view of target segments.
  • Build visual audience profile decks detailing customer demos, media consumption habits, and lifestyle behaviors to guide creative and media planning teams.
  • Keep a centralized, up-to-date repository of all active audience profiles, definitions, and performance benchmarks for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Hands-on creation and configuration of audience segments within Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and 3rd party tools like Experian.
  • Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot automated data syncs from internal databases to external ad networks (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs).
  • Regularly audit audience sizes, match rates, and data pipelines to ensure segments are populating correctly and respect user privacy/consent preferences.
