The Parent Services Specialist, under the supervision of the assigned child care services supervisor (parent services), is responsible for determining initial and continuing need and eligibility for subsidized child care services for state-funded programs. This role involves conducting in-person parent interviews, processing applications, managing case files, reviewing compliance with funding terms, resolving child care barriers, conducting orientations, providing referrals, connecting with community organizations, attending meetings, and maintaining required reports. The specialist may also manage family child care caseloads at outstation locations and perform other assigned duties.
