About the Role: We have an outstanding opportunity for an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team at our Georgetown, ON facility, a manufacturer of quality crackers. In this role, you will support the implementation and sustainment of the TreeHouse Management Operating Structure (TMOS) while working to improve supply chain processes and operational performance. You will partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, efficiency, and overall plant operations. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Support site leadership and process owners in implementing and sustaining the TreeHouse Management Operating Structure (TMOS), ensuring standard manufacturing processes are consistently applied. Act as a tactical resource and change agent; modeling behaviors aligned with TMOS. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and support KPI owners with gap analysis and follow-up actions. Collaborate with division-level continuous improvement leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives. Support execution of continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain processes and operational efficiency. Identify process requirements and improvement opportunities and assist with replication of best practices across sites. Utilize site data to support project prioritization and development of project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Assist in the execution of continuous improvement initiatives at the site level and support process changes. Support project review meetings by preparing updates, tracking progress, and documenting issues or outcomes. Conduct analyses of product and information flow using qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and opportunities. Assist in delivering training and coaching on continuous improvement tools and methodologies. Support plant-level initiatives and contribute to the execution of operational strategies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is required.
  • Exposure to project-based work and continuous improvement methodologies is required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and support change initiatives is required.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Management, or a related field is preferred.
