About The Position

ASRC Federal Field Services, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Specialist, Network to support government customer programs in Enid, Oklahoma. This role involves assisting senior network specialists in integrating, configuring, testing, monitoring, analyzing, controlling, maintaining, repairing, and restoring systems to ensure optimal performance. The position also includes managing the Laptop Checkout Pool, acting as the primary contact for computer/network disruptions, and providing technical support to base users for all software and hardware issues. The Specialist will be skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, and repair of computer systems, peripherals, network cables, and devices. They will coordinate with supported organizations on solutions, planning, security, and customer education, and assist the computer equipment section and system administrators. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining documentation such as manuals, contingency plans, procedures, inventory lists, logs, reports, data files, and system backups, while ensuring the integrity and security of system equipment, software, and files. Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas, and performing other related duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Must have an active COMPTIA Security+ or Network+ certification.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate, configure, test, monitor, analyze, control, maintain, repair, and restore systems to optimize and maintain top performance.
  • Manage and maintain the Laptop Checkout Pool.
  • Act as the focal point for all computer/network disruptions.
  • Provide technical support to base computer users on all software and hardware matters.
  • Perform intricate troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, and repairs of computer systems, peripherals, network cables, and network devices.
  • Coordinate and visit with supported organizations on solutions, planning, security, and customer education.
  • Provide assistance to the computer equipment section and system administrators as required.
  • Develop and maintain manuals, contingency plans, procedures, inventory lists, files, logs, reports, data files, and system backups in accordance with governing publications and policies.
  • Maintain integrity and security of system equipment, software, and files.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.
