Specialist, Middle Office Representative II
About The Position
In this role, you'll make an impact by contacting brokers for any discrepancies utilizing electronic trade matching (CTM connected to BlackRock’s Aladdin) to ensure (Fixed income and Equity) are matched on key trade information. You will also be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate matching of daily Repos in Access Edge and JPMorgan Collateral Central. This role involves communicating Interest payment due and new Repo bookings with counterparties to ensure proper matching, and preparing and sending Repo and Time Deposit end-of-day reports to ensure wire information is agreed upon. Additionally, you will prepare and send client activity reports to clients, work closely with and provide operational support for the trading desk and investment team, and collaborate with members of the operations team to ensure proper communication and settlement of trades across multiple asset classes. Identifying opportunities for automation and other process improvements is also a key aspect of this position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to follow complex procedures and manage risk effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of total work experience preferred
- experience in trade processing, accounting support, or the mutual fund industry preferred (training provided; prior financial services experience not required)
