Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field of study
• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
• Demonstrated experience in Automotive engineering processes
• Demonstrated experience in Validation testing
• Demonstrated experience in Creation of DFMEA, PFMEA, Boundary Diagram, and Control Plan in the automotive manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated experience in CATIA V5
• Demonstrated experience in Solid Works
• Demonstrated experience in GD&T
• Demonstrated experience in BOMs

Responsibilities

• Improve the design of the vehicles according to the needs of manufacturing to enable stable and ergonomic processes that are feasible for high volume manufacturing.
• Identify, decide, and implement technical requirements from manufacturing to influence product design.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, production control, and engineering to provide product design and product concepts according to the needs of General Assembly and Battery Assembly.
• Use CAD-Data-Analysis, Simulations, and virtual tests to identify risks for high volume manufacturing.
• Identify and implement ideas to improve product design to ensure stable assembly processes and minimal rework in series production.
• Ensure that all products are designed to meet assembly requirements and that product design is feasible for high volume manufacturing.
• Provide instruction and guidance about required techniques and regulations.
