About The Position

The Specialist I, Title IX and ADA supports the administration of Title IX and ADA processes for Nightingale College, serving as a frontline resource for learners and collaborators navigating accommodation and resolution pathways. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining a learner-centered approach to case management and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • Experience in Learner Support Services, specifically in Learner conduct
  • Knowledge of Title IX and ADA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with case management systems

Responsibilities

  • Supports the administration of ADA and Title IX processes for the College
  • Administers case management for accommodation requests, including complex eligibility interpretation
  • Interprets and ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to Title IX and ADA
  • Serves as a point of contact for Title IX and ADA related inquiries and escalations
  • Communicates with Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure cooperative relationships and effective administration
  • Supports the Conduct and Learner dispositional administration as needed under the direction of the Ethics Office
  • Prepares reports, manuals, and correspondence related to Title IX and ADA administration
  • Performs related duties as required
