About The Position

This role acts as a safety specialist for one or more of our distribution centers. As a specialist you will be in daily direct contact with line-level associates and line management at the location(s) of your assignment, to guide them in all facets of occupational health and safety. You will ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory bodies as well as our corporate safety policies. You will champion our safety culture at the site. Within this role you will assess risks at the job site, work with the site on mitigation strategies, be part of all incident investigations on site to find root causation, train employees on health and safety, conduct safety onboarding, conduct inspections, make safety observations, and work with the area safety lead on projects that affect the site.
