About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment across our facilities. In this role, you will ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will play a critical role in keeping our commercial buildings operational and safe, contributing directly to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems in dynamic commercial environments while advancing your technical expertise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of commercial electrical experience
  • Proficient in electrical system troubleshooting and repair with knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, work at heights using ladders and lifts, and work in confined spaces
  • Available for on-call rotation and emergency response as needed, with flexibility for weekend or after-hours work for planned maintenance activities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in occupied commercial buildings or facilities maintenance/property management environments
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Arc Flash training certification
  • Low voltage/fire alarm system certifications
  • Familiarity with building automation and energy management systems

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in commercial buildings
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency generators, and fire alarm systems
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and power outages
  • Install and terminate low-voltage systems including data, telecommunications, and security systems
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed and read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other trades as needed, and participate in building automation system (BAS) integration projects
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local jurisdiction requirements while following OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols
