About The Position

RH Strategic is hiring a curious, talented, and detail-obsessed Digital Specialist to join its fast-growing digital team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate brings 1-3 years of experience, with a sharp analytical mind, creative instincts, and a genuine interest in how digital channels can drive real-world impact. They will work alongside clients and internal teams to implement digital and content strategies spanning social media, paid advertising, data analysis, and digital advocacy campaigns. This is a full-time role based in Washington, D.C., requiring an in-office presence of at least three days per week. To be qualified, candidates must currently reside in the DMV metro area. RH Strategic is a well-established public relations agency with a robust client portfolio across technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, government, sustainability, and education & workforce industries. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of communications, digital, or political experience; prior agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong professional working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, WordPress, SEO, etc.
  • Working knowledge of social analytics tools (Talkwalker, SEMRush, AthenaHQ, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Familiarity with online advertising tools, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and other networks.
  • Outstanding writing skills and appreciation for high-quality, strategic work
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with community advocacy platforms like Influitive.
  • Experience developing direct match targeting lists for paid digital campaigns.
  • An obsession with the latest trends in digital media (including memes), platform updates, and new ways to maximize ROI across channels.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting client and internal teams across digital analytics, content, advocacy, and marketing campaigns.
  • Assisting in the development of digital and social media strategies based on client objectives.
  • Monitoring and analyzing emerging and ongoing social and digital conversations using social analysis tools, and surfacing key insights and trends to internal teams.
  • Supporting the launch, optimization, and reporting of paid digital campaigns across social, programmatic display, and search platforms.
  • Running day-to-day operations of digital and social media campaigns, including social analysis and monitoring, digital community management, creative ideation and execution, and digital advertising.
