About The Position

Hard Rock Digital is building a team focused on becoming the best online sportsbook, casino, and social gaming company in the world. This role owns the standard for reporting trustworthiness, including definitions, certification processes, and governance frameworks. In the first 12-18 months, the role will lead the migration of reporting across Salesforce, Tableau, and ADAM (Snowflake-native analytics platform). After this initial phase, the core function will be data governance, establishing a framework for the BI Operations team and ensuring data accuracy and trustworthiness. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Operations Strategy & Insights, and is part of BI Operations.

Requirements

Best-in-class visualization skill with an eye for clarity and usability across multiple platforms.
Strong understanding of underlying data structure and modeling to determine appropriate platforms and formats.
Ability to reconstruct reporting logic from one system cleanly in another.
3-6 years in BI or analytics with hands-on dashboard-building experience across more than one platform.
Solid SQL skills sufficient for tracing and validating data lineage across systems.
Comfortable owning a large, ambiguous modernization effort and making informed decisions.
Strong written communication skills for explaining complex data logic clearly.
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

Direct experience building or reading Salesforce-native reporting.
Familiarity with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
Experience with data governance frameworks, data dictionaries, or certification processes in a BI context.
Exposure to lightweight or self-serve reporting tools (e.g., Streamlit) as an alternative to traditional dashboards.
Experience in iGaming, online sportsbook, casino, or another regulated digital industry.

Responsibilities

Own the data governance framework for ADAM: standards, naming conventions, definitions, documentation, and the certification process.
Act as the certification gate for new data, partnering with the BI Ops team to review, validate, and certify new metrics, dimensions, or tables.
Maintain data lineage documentation.
Monitor the health of the data environment, catch data drift, flag upstream changes affecting downstream reporting, and maintain trust in the platform.
Partner with the data engineering team on schema changes, new source integrations, and pipeline updates affecting the reporting layer.
Partner with BI Operations leadership to define the transition of governance responsibility to the broader team.
Evaluate reporting across Salesforce, Tableau, and other platforms to determine the best destination and format.
Migrate eligible reporting into ADAM, ensuring reports or datasets land in the most appropriate place.
Improve and consolidate reporting by identifying overlap and redundancy.
Build migrated reports to a best-in-class visualization standard with clear documentation.
Identify data gaps or modeling issues and translate them into specific asks for the data engineering team.
Run stakeholder review and sign-off on migrated reports before retiring legacy versions.
Propose better-fit alternatives when a tool is used for something it's not built for.
