Specialist, Credit Risk (Pipeline Requisition)
About The Position
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist to join our Credit Risk team covering Funds and Alternative Managers. This role is located in New York City, NY or Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll make an impact by performing credit due diligence on existing and prospective clients which include Regulated Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds. You will analyze the financial performance of clients and assess the entity’s risk profile. You will also establish and monitor credit limits including Repo, FX and OTC Derivatives, and Direct Lending. Participating in the negotiation of credit agreements, performing ongoing monitoring of clients’ financial performance and exposures to BNY, reviewing and challenging business proposals, and assisting in the preparation of portfolio presentations are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields
- 2-4 years of experience in credit supporting Regulated and Unregulated funds
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Demonstrated understanding of financial markets globally
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and ability to apply AI to the job function
- Ability to collaborate across teams
