The Specialist, Communications (Media, Projects & Delivery) supports the development and delivery of Travel Alberta’s corporate communications and media relations activities. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Communications & Content, this role works collaboratively with internal teams to develop clear, consistent, and brand-aligned communications materials and support the execution of communications initiatives. The Specialist contributes to the creation of a variety of communications products, including presentations, briefing notes, reports, and media materials. They support the coordination and delivery of communications projects and assist in ensuring materials are accurate, timely, and tailored to intended audiences. This role also provides support for corporate media relations and public relations (MRPR) activities with a focus on regional and business media, including the development of media materials, monitoring media coverage, and maintaining media lists. The Specialist helps ensure alignment with Travel Alberta’s brand and messaging across all communications outputs. The role requires strong writing, organization, and coordination skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to team deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
