We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Client Service I to join our Planned Giving Administration team in BNY Wealth Management. This role is located in Boston, MA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage concurrent requests, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to work directly with clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; proactively seek clarity and escalate appropriately.
  • Desire and curiosity to acquire technical expertise and relationship management skills required to progress towards higher level tasks/responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 0-3 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for various administrative duties related to charitable vehicles; maintain accurate records, update daily transactional data, and deliver client specific periodic reports.
  • Support external clients in addressing operational and technical questions or issues and ensure requests are executed.
  • Apply problem-solving skills based on precedence and experience, using communication skills to deliver high-quality service to non-profit organizations and charitable donors.
  • Provide external clients with information related to BNY products and services representing a limited number of lines of business and geographies, directing them to appropriate resources as needed.
  • Develop expertise in the administration of all types of charitable vehicles, including trusts, gift annuities, pooled income funds, and donor advised funds.
  • Participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve client experience.
