Reporting to the Senior Lead, Automation, the Automation Specialist is responsible for leading process control improvements for water treatment projects and operations that drive value to EVR. The successful candidate will work as part of the Water Quality Processing Department in close collaboration with a high performing team of professionals to safely deliver and maintain a diverse set of technology that is transforming the way EVR operates its water treatment systems. Water Operations’ goal is to operate Reverse Osmosis - High Density Sludge facility (RO-HDS), the active water treatment facility (AWTF), saturated rock fill (SRF) and calcite operations efficiently as part of EVR’s overall commitment to meet the requirements of the Elk Valley Water Quality Plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for support and improving the existing process control system. To be successful, we are looking for someone with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
