Under limited supervision, the purpose of the job is to collect, review and assess applications, transcripts, and related documents for compliance with eligibility for admission. Employees in this job classification are responsible for managing, expediting and maintaining files, records and other documents, and ensures accurate progression of completed files throughout the admission process. Resolves application processing problems, and coordinates the resolution and/or referral of specific policy-related and procedural problems, processes Petition for Residency documents. Provides quality customer service to students in the performance of their roles. Performs related work as directed. This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295. Certain servicemembers may be eligible to receive waivers for postsecondary educational requirements, in the employment by the state and its political subdivisions and are encouraged to apply for the positions being filled.
