About The Position

We’re looking for a high-energy Accounts Payable Specialist to join our AP Team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Lead. The AP Specialist is responsible for entering a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency daily. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience.
• An ability to work and meet deadlines.
• Type 80+ words a minute with minimum errors.
• Good attention to detail.
• Problem-Solving skills.
• Flexibility with daily tasks.
• Organizational Skills.
• Advanced Excel and Oracle skills.
• A sense of urgency and professionalism, with impeccable communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• High Volume Invoice processing with strict deadlines.
• Working with internal customers to ensure timely processing of Check Requests.
• Researching a high volume of inquiries regarding the status and other payment information.
• Reconcile Vendor Statements to confirm all outstanding invoices have been received and entered.
• Completing month-end duties on time.
• Working closely with GL Team regarding coding and invoice entries.
• Extend excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
• Additional duties as assigned.
