About The Position

This position is based at our Administration Office in Dothan, Alabama. Monday -Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm; Friday 7:30am - 11:30am Alabama State Retirement Option

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least one year bookkeeping experience required.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Quicken or Quick Books as necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years accounting experience.
  • Some governmental accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and reviews accounting and financial reports and helps to ensure accurate accounting systems and record keeping.
  • Responsible for maintaining computerized fixed asset accounting system and files.
  • Prepares daily bank deposit.
  • Performs other accounting duties as required or as requested by CFO or Controller.
  • Regular attendance with timely arrival and departure according to scheduled hours. All absences must be reported to the Controller, his/her designee or Chief Human Resources Officer.
