About The Position

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Special Studies Technician to assist in measuring and collecting data for use in diagnosis of central and peripheral nervous system disorders. Typing and word processing skills required.

Requirements

• Typing and word processing skills required.
• Must be proficient in the international 10-20 system of electrode placement using both collodion and paste application methods.
• Must be proficient in routine EEG, LTM EEG, and ambulatory EEG.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must be CPR certified

Nice To Haves

• Additional college level or equivalent training and/or experience in biological science, human anatomy, neuroanatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and neurological testing is preferred.
• Nerve Conduction Studies, TCD, and Autonomics experience is preferred.
