This is a proposal position accepting bench candidates for future openings. The Special Security Representative/Functional Security Officer (SSR/FSO) will manage facets of a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program, including physical, personnel, information, or industrial security. This role involves implementing necessary standards, such as Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) SCIF accreditation standards, to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST requirements are maintained on all Automated Information Systems (AIS). The SSR/FSO will provide office services, ensuring personnel assigned to SCI billets meet and maintain all security clearance requirements. Key responsibilities include managing the Periodic Reinvestigation Program, Media Control Procedures, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and the Access Control System (ACS). Additionally, the role involves managing personnel, visitors, and visit requests in databases used by the Intelligence Community, such as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castles, and Air Force Space Command (SCIBS), to record eligibility and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and other caveated programs. The SSR/FSO will also maintain SCIF accreditations for current and future geographically separated SCIFs.
