About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer for a site in Marshalltown, Iowa. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate, in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The schedule is full-time and varied, with the ability to work third-shift (overnight) assignments on weekdays and weekends. Pay is $17 per hour. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus.
• Be proficient with technology.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa state private security license; GardaWorld will pay for and help obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
