About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking a Special Projects Technician I to join their team and help keep their stores running smoothly. This role involves ensuring equipment like Slurpee machines are functioning correctly, as well as tackling large-scale projects and upgrades. The technician will play a vital role in ensuring convenience for customers and supporting communities by contributing to thousands of remodels and new store and restaurant openings.

Requirements

Ability to travel 50% of the time or greater
Ability to work flexible hours defined by the project
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
Valid Driver’s License (with real ID or equivalent for air travel)
Show leadership

Responsibilities

Complete POS upgrades and installations, fuel dispenser upgrades and other specialized projects
Serve on a strike team to support markets with service calls during IHM technician staffing shortages
Manage and fulfill orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
Maintain parts inventory and complete daily reports to support operational efficiency
Perform additional duties such as training Level I technicians, prioritize assigned work orders, and conduct basic structural maintenance
