About The Position

7-Eleven is seeking a Special Projects Technician I to join their team. This role involves ensuring store equipment, such as Slurpee machines, are functioning correctly, and also tackling large-scale projects and upgrades. The technician will complete point of sale upgrades and installations, fuel dispenser upgrades, and other specialized projects. They will also serve on a strike team to support markets with service calls during In-House Maintenance technician staffing shortages. The role includes managing and fulfilling orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues, maintaining parts inventory, and completing daily reports. Additional duties may include training technicians, prioritizing work orders, and conducting basic structural maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
• Valid Driver’s License (with real ID or equivalent for air travel)
• Ability to travel 50% of the time or greater
• Ability to work flexible hours defined by the project

Responsibilities
