Special Projects Lead

Bolt Farm Treehouse•Whitwell, TN
•$90,000 - $110,000

About The Position

Bolt Farm Treehouse is hiring a Special Projects Lead for its Strike Team, which works across departments to simplify business operations, build better systems, and establish sustainable routines. The role takes important improvements from loosely defined problems through implementation and handoff. The Lead clarifies what needs to change, prioritizes the work, brings together the right people, and delivers practical results across operational and technical teams. The Special Projects Lead will use AI and automation to reduce coordination work, improve project delivery, and make visible improvements to guest service and business operations. Projects should be handed off so department teams can sustain them without ongoing daily support from the project team.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional projects from definition through implementation.
  • A portfolio of projects personally scoped, coordinated, and delivered.
  • Hands-on experience using AI or automation in project workflows.
  • Experience delivering projects directly with founders or executive leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, guest experience, or other frontline service operations.
  • Experience in a founder's office, chief-of-staff function, or special-projects team.
  • Experience building ClickUp workflows and automations, or comparable enterprise work-management systems.
  • Experience leading a small team and supporting operational adoption after launch.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, intended outcomes, owners, and completion criteria with people closest to the problem.
  • Prioritize cross-functional initiatives based on guest impact, operating efficiency, and business value.
  • Build project plans and coordinate the people and dependencies needed for delivery.
  • Use AI-enabled workflows and automation to reduce manual project tracking and follow-up.
  • Identify blockers early, resolve tradeoffs, and keep decision-makers informed.
  • Work with department teams to simplify processes before adding tools or automations.
  • Lead implementation, user adoption, and handoff so completed projects can continue without daily project-team support.
  • Document results and lessons in reusable SOPs, templates, and operating practices.
